Check The Required Materials List

When you register, go to the Telos Web site, www.telos.edu , to check the Required Materials list. Once at the home page, you will see a link to this list on the right hand side of the page. The list is alphabetized by course code, and lists items that are required for your course(s). Some items are available to order from Telos using the "Materials Order" section of the registration form. Other items must be obtained from outside sources. The materials list identifies these, as well as giving suggestions as to where you may purchase the items that we do not carry. The list also contains a separate listing of suggested materials for each course; these are not required, but some students have found them to be of help.

* Contact Telos Prior To Registering

Those living outside of North America must contact Telos prior to sending your registration and payment. You will need to let us know what courses you plan to take, as well as any materials you will be ordering so that we can obtain an accurate total cost for you, including the cost of shipping to your location, if applicable.

* Register Early

We ask that overseas students register at least eight weeks prior to the start of any semester in which they wish to enroll. This is the only way to ensure that there is time for the processing of paperwork and delivery of materials prior to the start of the semester. Overseas registrations that are submitted after the Application Deadline in a given semester will be subject to the late registration fee of $25 (USD). If you submit a late application or registration, we will do all that we can to accommodate your student’s enrollment, however you will incur extra costs such as (but not limited to): paying extra to send your payment via expedited delivery to the United States, and paying more for expedited shipment of materials.

* Payment Options

There are only four forms of payment that are acceptable for our overseas students. Funds must be made payable to Telos or The Telos Institute. (Do NOT make them payable to IBLP or ATI.) Payment for registration and materials must be made by one of the following methods:

  1. Cashier’s Check
  2. Bank Draft
  3. Credit or Debit payments through PayPal
  4. Personal Checks drawn on a US-dollar-only checking account (Most international families do not have such accounts.)

Payments made through PayPal may be delayed by a week or longer. Delays in receiving cleared PayPal payments will in turn cause delayed processing of your registration and materials. PayPal payments are also subject to an additional five percent surcharge to cover the fees that PayPal charges Telos to accept these payments.
