WBS 111—Studies
in Biblical Wisdom I
Analyzes the principles of Christ’s teaching contained in
the Sermon on the Mount. Students develop skills in applying Biblical
insight to daily problems. An interdisciplinary approach to Bible
study, writing, and integration of truth. Course assignments based
on ATI’s Wisdom Booklets 1–8. Prerequisite: completion
of or concurrent enrollment in BLP 101.

112—Studies in Biblical Wisdom II
A continuation of WBS 111, with emphasis on proper response to hostility
and development of peacemaking qualities. WBS 112 utilizes Wisdom
Booklets 9–16. Prerequisite: WBS 111.

must be taken sequentially. An accelerated schedule may be available for those wishing to take WBS 111 and 112 concurrently. Students
adopting this accelerated schedule may not
simultaneously enroll in WBS 113. |

A continuation of WBS 112, stressing wise decision-making principles.
Course assignments based on Wisdom Booklets 17–24. Prerequisite:
completion of or concurrent enrollment in WBS 112.

214—Studies in Biblical Wisdom IV
A continuation of WBS 113, with emphasis on the concept of Creation;
special attention given to the discipline of teaching and the maintenance
of personal integrity. Assignments based on Wisdom Booklets 25–31.
Prerequisites: completion of or concurrent enrollment in BLP 102
and WBS 113. (3 semester hours)

215—Studies in Biblical Wisdom V
A continuation of WBS 214, with emphasis on communication and message
preparation. Students focus on the Fall of man as the cause of society’s
problems. Assignments based on Wisdom Booklets 32–39. Prerequisite:
completion of or concurrent enrollment in WBS 214.

216—Studies in Biblical Wisdom VI
A continuation of WBS 215, with emphasis on the concept of redemption
as the solution for man’s problems. Students develop skills
in graphic design. Course assignments based on Wisdom Booklets 40–47.
Prerequisite: completion of or concurrent enrollment in WBS 215.

217—Studies in Biblical Wisdom VII
Students learn and apply the requirements to earn trust. Assignments
based on Wisdom Booklets 48–54. The final project in this
series requires the student to produce core elements of a Wisdom
Booklet in relation to a specified passage of Scripture. This concluding
course in wisdom studies requires students to apply the wisdom and
understanding gained throughout the series. Prerequisite: completion
of or concurrent enrollment in WBS 216.
