Music Ministry Bachelor of Arts Degree

The Telos Institute International has joined with the International Academy of Music to provide a new program that will enable you to earn a Bachelor or Associate degree in Music Ministry. Students will take the music portion of their curriculum directly from the International Academy of Music . Telos will provide the courses in Bible and General Studies.

  • Earn a degree that will prepare you for leadership in music ministry in the local church or other settings.
  • Develop your musical skills in an atmosphere of excellence, based on a Biblical approach to music and worship.
  • Build a foundation in Bible and life principles alongside your musical development to equip you for effective ministry, not just performance.

Upon successful completion of either of the degree programs, the student should be able to:

  • Exhibit an understanding of fundamental music concepts
  • Exhibit a working knowledge of Biblical concepts concerning music
  • Exhibit the basic skills necessary for writing music
  • Exhibit skills in vocal and/or instrumental expression
  • Begin or participate in a ministry of music in their local church or community

* Concentration areas can be General (a customized program), Keyboard, or Composition.  Consult with the International Academy of Music staff for guidance in this area.
